We know many of our artists would like to increase the price of their VIDA designs to reflect the quality and craftsmanship of their original art pieces. We are giving you the chance to receive up to 62% commission on sales of products you price up in VIDA x Studio.
A sale of a Modal Scarf priced at $45 (our Standard Price) will earn you $4.50 but now, if you price your Modal Scarf up to $225 you will earn $139.50. Even if you increase the price just $10, from $45 to $55, you will earn 22% commission - more than doubling your usual payout.
How it works
When creating or editing a product, you have the option to raise the price from our standard MSRP using our “Set Your Price” tool. See photo below.
Note that you cannot edit the price of pieces that have already been sold.
A Modal Scarf starts at $45 but as the designer, you have the choice to sell your scarf at a higher price - for example, $60. You earn a 10% commission on all products you sell regardless of higher pricing but for this month only, you will also earn 75% of the difference between the standard MSRP and your higher priced item. In the Modal Scarf example, you would not only earn your base 10% commission for the MSRP but 75% of the $15 difference between $45 (Standard MSRP) and $60 (Higher Priced Item). When you used to earn $6.00 from a $60 scarf, you will now earn $15.75.
