Supply Chain Manager

We manage a cutting-edge, just-in-time global production platform and work with thousands of artists from over 2,500 cities around the world. We are growing rapidly, doubling our revenues every year, and looking to hire a stellar Supply Chain Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage ongoing production cycle from Purchase Order to delivery of goods, including PO creation & placement with suppliers, and monitoring and ensuring on-time delivery by troubleshooting all issues
- Allocate and plan VIDA’s orders based on capacity of our suppliers and strategic supplier management and supplier’s actual performance
- Partner internal cross-functional teams to manage calendar adherence
- Manage vendor relationships and new vendor sourcing
- Manage costing process to achieve financial goals and cost of goods (COGs) goals
- Ensure QA/QC requirements are met to achieve customer satisfaction and handle escalated CS issues
- Communicate weekly & monthly performance reviews to vendors and recommend and supervise implementation of action plans for areas of improvement and lead weekly production update with cross-functional teams
- Project and production management for partnership bulk orders
- Analyze, compile and report on data and metrics for production and fulfillment status to meet/exceed goals
Position in Organisation:
- The Supply Chain Manager will report to the COO
- The position will have several direct reports- currently a team of 1 FTE on supply chain support, one trainee and 3 overseas FTE in Ops support. 2 FTE’s to hire to build out the team within 2018/2019 supporting VIDA’s growth plans
- Manager or senior manager title depending on background and relevant experience
Required Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in related studies
- Experience in related roles such as production planning, analytics, production, sourcing or other related fields
- Analytics or planning experience and strong analytical skills is a must
- Key knowledge of apparel manufacturing process
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to meet expected deadlines
- Excels in a demanding multi-priority environment
- Ability to build working relationships with business partners
