Web Developer
VIDA is a Google Ventures and Y Combinator backed e-commerce platform that captures an artist’s creative vision and enables them to create sellable products in minutes; allowing customers to purchase unique items from anywhere in the world. We manage on-demand production and manufacturing processes and work with thousands of artists from over 2,500 cities globally.
We are looking for a Web Developer to join the team and contribute to our web sites, marketing materials and UI/UX design & implementation. You’ll work with teams across VIDA on features and systems that will power our growth; researching and implementing solutions to give designers, customers and internal users the best VIDA experience possible. Our patent pending, visualization technology is just one step toward our future capabilities such as laser cutting, 3D draping and printing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will offer an opportunity to design and develop web applications, components and sites. As a Web Developer, you’ll contribute to user-facing features and styling while learning about fashion and art. VIDA has a polyglot, microservices architecture which supports creating custom web applications, data processing pipelines and systems integrations in the best suited language for the situation. This role will work directly with the Studio, Marketing and Operations teams to define and create software tools and services.
